Regorafenib is an oral multikinase inhibitor that slows cancer growth and tumor blood vessel formation.
Possible side effects
- Weight loss
- Mouth irritation
- Voice changes
- Stomach pain
- Muscle spasms
- Hair loss
- Serious reactions include allergic reactions, liver problems, neurological changes, bleeding, infection, heart rhythm changes, severe skin reactions, or wound-healing problems
- Not all patients experience these effects. Report all symptoms.
Tips for patients and families
- Discuss all instructions with the doctor or pharmacist.
- Avoid grapefruit products.
- Use effective birth control during treatment; do not take if pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Handle tablets carefully and wash hands after touching.
- Take with water after a low-fat meal at the same time each day.
- Store at room temperature.
